The place I know better than anywhere. My family lived here, and I know it the way you only know somewhere you have returned to over and over: which coast suits which time of year, which hotels earn their price and which coast on their name, where to eat in the mountain villages and which roads are worth the drive.
Cyprus is easy sunshine with real depth. Stay put in a beautiful hotel in Paphos or Limassol, or let me build you a full itinerary: the Troodos mountain villages, the wine trails, the coastal towns, the quiet corners most visitors never find. Adults only or full family, one base or a proper route around the island. This is my home turf.
Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia and the routes between them. This is where I do my best work: multi centre trips that give you culture and beach without burning anyone out, adults only hideaways, and family resorts where the kids club buys you an afternoon by the pool.
I know which Mallorca property sits in the Tramuntana mountains and which one is two streets from the strip. That difference is the whole job.
The Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles. Overwater villas, shallow lagoons, granite boulder beaches, barefoot luxury. The resort matters enormously here, the difference between the right one and the wrong one is the difference between the trip of a lifetime and an expensive mistake.
And it is not just the resort, it is the journey to it. I match the island to your transfer: a thirty minute speedboat or a scenic seaplane hop, and never a four hour combination with tired children after a night flight. Honeymoons, big anniversaries and yes, families too, if you pick the right island.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Winter sun without the long haul jet lag, big hotels with serious pools, beach clubs, waterparks and restaurants worth dressing up for.
Where you base yourself shapes the whole trip: Downtown for the skyline and the shows, the Palm for the beach resorts, Yas Island for the parks and the Grand Prix buzz. I plan the location as carefully as the hotel. Short transfers, easy flying from Manchester, and a lot of holiday for your money at the right property.
Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Bali and beyond. These are the trips that take real planning: bullet trains and ryokans, islands and city stopovers, guides worth their weight in gold.
